Mile High Workshop: Second Chance Series
This campaign won first place at the 2020 Ad 2 National Public Service Competition, a 2020 Denver Fifty Award, and a 2020 AAF Silver Addy Award. Mile High Workshop has the succinct mission of reducing barriers faced by people recovering from homelessness, addiction or incarceration when reentering the workforce. Not only do they provide second chances for the people of our community, they provide second chances for materials typically destined for landfills. By upcycling vinyl from banners and billboards into durable one of a kind tote bags, MHW has discovered a sustainable way to create jobs, reduce waste, and make cool products. You can purchase a bag and support the workshop’s mission at secondchanceseries.com Together, we’ve found a sustainable (and fashionable) way to support an underserved community. Please check out our website, subscribe to our mailing list, purchase a bag or make a donation. We’re creating a more prosperous world, where barriers to unemployment are eliminated. Where people are empowered by meaningful work. Where everyone deserves a second chance. And with our help, they won’t need a third.
